Daycare

Day one of daycare was tough (for me) but we are starting to get in a nice routine. The fact that Graeme peed on his daycare provider twice today doesn't seem to be any indication of how he is enjoying his time. She sent me some pictures tonight from day 3.

Sunday's Best

Graeme got all dressed up in his Sunday's best for church today...he still hasn't quite grown into the khaki's but it was worth a little mini photo shoot.

Enjoying the Small Stuff

I go back to work next Tuesday so I have been trying to take in every little moment with Graeme. Luckily, we have had a beautiful last week of maternity leave and enjoyed plenty of time outdoors. Graeme seems to love the weather, always turning his face up to the sun. We have spent time sprawled on a quilt in the backyard under the clothesline of drying diapers while playing frisbee with a very happy Brandi. We also took a nice trip to the local pond where Graeme soaked in the sun and Brandi had her first swim of the season. Each day we took at least one walk, trying to find a new route each time.

And oh, how I love to watch him sleep in my arms.

Time Flies

Graeme is 2 months old today and I cannot believe how fast these last months have gone by. Today his is sporting a vest that say's Grandpa's Best Friend on the lapel in honor of his Papa's birthday.We went for his 2 month appointment and he is up to 9lbs 3oz and 22 inches long! He also received his first round of vaccinations and both of us cried (him just a bit louder). At least the nurses gave him some nice Bugs Bunny Band-Aids which brought a smile to my face, though I don't think they seemed to soothe him all that much. He has been very sleepy and teary since returning home :(

Busy Week

Graeme had a busy week...

Many walks in the Baby Ergo w/Brandi to enjoy the beautiful weather.

Time spent in the Bumbo strengthening those neck and core muscles.

Trying to figure out his new play mat while visiting Mermer and Grampy.

 
A visit from Grammy and Grandpa and Uncle Ben and Aunt Lea.

We also went to Stroller Strides to meet up with other mommies and babies. On Tuesday we went to visit daycare, where Graeme will be going starting in just a week (lets hope he stops his bottle strike by the :/).All of this activity led to a very sleepy baby.

I See You

Graeme has begun to enjoy tummy time since we introduced the mirror. It is no longer just a time for him to try to suck his thumb.
